Crochet cardigan time

From time to time I will be posting current works and progress that I am working on. I plan to aim for once a week or every other week. Sometimes I have to take a break from knitting and crocheting my designs to finish or try to finish my endless wips (works in progress). I have to many wips to list but I will share this one that I am working on right now. 

I love cables either knitting or crochet. Currently I am working on the  Fancey bones cardigan from Restless hooks. I would say that if you are new to crochet I would wait to crochet this. I have had to restart a few times. The pattern is well written however, the times I had to restart were from my own mistakes. I actually have two going at the same time. The first one is coming out a little small as when following that pattern I started reading the wrong size. I am making this as a gift and I know it would not fit them, but it does fit me so I am going to finish it.

This second one I am following the right size and am using a little darker yarn, The person I am making it for love cardigans but also loves skulls so this will be the prefect gift for her. 

p.s this hook that I am using is the best. These hooks are made to order from hookedbyholtby I have the set with the Susan bates hooks and a few hooks in the clover. I love my tension with the clover armor but the hooks are a little short and since I crochet the knife hold style sometimes the shorter hooks mess with my hands. I like how the  covering makes them a little longer and easy to hold. She has many styles to choose from as well as many awesome crochet patterns.
