more about me and how I came to be involed in the crafting/fiber art world. I have always loved crafting. When I was a kid I would draw and paint (wasn't very good at it. Then I went into crooss stitch and needle point which I still do on occasion but it is not my main go to craft.
My mother taught me to crochet when i was 20 and I taught myself to knit when I was around 30. From there I venutred off into spinning and dyeing yarn. I tried weaving but decided it was not for me. When I injured my thumb and it hurt to knit I learned to Portuguese knit and used my jewelry making skills to make Portuguese knitting pins.
