Fish hook necklace - Portuguese knitting

If you love fishing then this is the necklace for you. Anyone can wear this necklace but if you portuguese knit you can use this as a portuguese knitting necklace. This is a new design. The old cord i was using had some faults to it so I change the necklace style. It is not adjustable (however, when adjusting the necklace make sure not to pull to hard on the knot as it may come out. I find that adjusting the necklace from the one strand to work best.

I have three colors available, gold silver, and bronze, i normally keep a couple remade and on hand but these are made to order. But i am able to make them in a day and these are normally shipped out between 1-3 days (usually have them package and ready to be in the mail the next day, depending on what time the order is placed.

The neckalce is made of waxed cotton cord.

With the Portuguese style you with knit with the yarn around your neck (which can sometimes irritate your neck) or by using a knitting pin which can leave a hole in your blouse. With the necklace you don't have to poke a hole in your blouse and also serves as a necklace making it both practical and functional . I found this style of knitting due to an injury with my wrist where it hurt to much to knit English throwing style and I love this style of knitting so much better.

since you are using the pin as tension your hands stay on the needle which causes less hand movement which is easier on your hands. This style is very easy to learn, and you are also able to knit faster.
