Southwest style leather with tuquoise magnetic Portuguese knitting pin

This pin features a leather pendant with dyed turquoise focal. This is a pendant I bought on sale and I can not remember where I got this so I may not be able to make this one again.  This is magnetic with a silver hook. If you love cowgirls and the Southwest then don't let this pin slip past you. I can not say if this is real leather as I bought the pendant a while ago and I didn't have the packaging for it when I made the pin.

This pin is magnetic so you don't have to worry about poking holes in your shirt or blouse.  The hook is sterling silver plated with and a decorative design.

This charming knitting pin is for people who knit the Portuguese style. With the Portuguese style you with knit with the yarn around your neck (which can sometimes irritate your neck) or by using a knitting pin. With the knitting pin you pin it up near your left shoulder and tension the yarn in the hook. I found this style of knitting due to an injury with my wrist where it hurt to much to knit English throwing style and I love this style of knitting so much better.

since you are using the pin as tension your hands stay on the needle which causes less hand movement which is easier on your hands. This style is very easy to learn, and you are also able to knit faster.
